Sweden’s Andreas Ståhl joins BRAVE CF, to face Denmark’s Louis Glismann at ‘BRAVE CF 37’

Andreas “Real Steel” Ståhl, 31, of Umea, Vasterbotten, Sweden has joined BRAVE Combat Federation. He will make his debut in the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion at “BRAVE CF 37″ on April 18, 2020.

Promoted in association with the local MMA powerhouse AK Fighting Championship, “BRAVE CF 37” will take place at Solnahallen in Stockholm, Sweden. This will be BRAVE CF’s first ever event to take place in the Scandinavian country.

At “BRAVE CF 37,” Ståhl will compete in the welterweight division. His opponent will be Louis “Spartacus” Glissman, 29, of Copenhagen, Denmark, who is also a BRAVE CF debutante.

“I am super ready for this fight and I am thankful to BRAVE Combat Federation for this opportunity,” Ståhl said. “I respect my opponent and I have seen his fights and I know he is a good martial artist.”

The Swedish MMA fighter is under the wing of MTK Global MMA. Muhammad Rizvan Ali serves as his manager.

“I am very confident that Andreas has the potential to grab the win,” Ali said. “Andreas Ståhl is the pride of MTK Global MMA.”

“He is a great human being and a hard worker in the gym,” Ali said of Ståhl. “He is an experienced fighter who had shared the cage with some tough athletes in the past.”

Born in Sweden on May 20, 1988, Ståhl has been competing professionally since 2009. With a professional MMA record of 12 wins and 4 losses, he is regarded as one of the best welterweights in Europe.

Ståhl is training out of Umea Training Center. Before joining BRAVE CF, he competed in Battle of Botnia, Superior Challenge, Cage Fight Live, Heroes Fighting, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Cage Warriors, German MMA Championship, Absolute Championship Akhmat and M-1 Challenge, among others.

Currently, Ståhl is riding a two-bout winning streak. He knocked out Usman Bisultanov of Russia at “ACB 78” on January 13, 2018 on January 13,2018 and defeated Christian “Stabil”Jungwirth, 33, of Germany via unanimous decision at “M-1 Challenge 103” on August 3, 2019.
