Co-promoting mixed martial arts events is not new to Bellator MMA as it has been swapping fighters with Rizin Fighting Federation. A cross-promotion between the former and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The UFC and Bellator MMA are two of the leading MMA promotions in the world today. These companies are under the leaderships of Scott Coker and Dana White, respectively.
Coker and White may never agree to co-promote an event. But if I were given the power to create a fight card featuring the two promotions, I would include matches between undefeated athletes and reigning champions.
