“Muhammad Mokaev for me is the new norm of MMA,” Shahid stated. “Having huge experience at the amateur level, we have to acknowledge that Mokaev is special. This kid is pound-for-pound number one in the amateur world.”
“His confidence and skillset today, even with no pro bouts to his name, make him easily one of the top prospects on the road to be the best fighter in the world in the next five years,” Shahid said of Mokaev. “He is in BRAVE CF to fight the best fighters in the world because he wants to be the best in the world.”
Mokaev is originally from Dagestan, Russia. He is an alum of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation.
Training out of KHK MMA in Bahrain, Mokaev has a tremendous amateur record and has not tasted defeat in 23 bouts. He is a two-time junior world champion, two-time European world champion and the number one ranked junior fighter on the globe regardless of weight-classes.
As an amateur MMA fighter, Mokaev represented Great Britain. He is seen as the future of the sport due to his generational talents, which have been well honed under KHK MMA, one of the most successful development programs in the world today.
Moreover, Mokaev has also spent time at Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand. His first BRAVE CF bout will be announced soon.
