Vicente “The Silent Assassin” Luque, 28, was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 173,” which was also called “UFC on ESPN+ 31” and “UFC Vegas 5.” The Brazilian-Chilean-American mixed martial artist is fighting out of Brasilia, Distrito Federal, Brazil by way of New Jersey, United States.
Featuring eight MMA matches, “UFC Vegas 5” took place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on August 1, 2020. In the sixth bout of the evening, Luque fought Randy “Rude Boy” Brown, 30, of Spanish Town, Jamaica in the welterweight division.
Mark Smith served as the referee. He put a stop to the welterweight contest after 4 minutes and 56 seconds in the second round when Luque knocked out Brown via knee and punches.
Luque and his fellow Brazilian MMA fighter Jennifer Maia, 31, were the recipients of the Performance of the Night bonuses. The rematch of lightweights Bobby “King” Green, 33, of Redlands, California, USA and Lando “Groovy” Vanata, 28, of Toms River, New Jersey was declared the Fight of the Night.

Luque is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a purple belt in Luta Livre Esportiva. He was born in Westwood, New Jersey on November 27, 1991 to a Chilean father and a Brazilian mother.
Competing professionally since 2009, Luque joined the UFC in 2015.
