Shaun O. Frazier is an African-American man from New York, United States. He is a former police officer from the New York Police Department (NYPD).

  1. The NYPD hired him on January 7, 2015. He was assigned to the department’s building and maintenance section.
  2. After completing six months of intensive training at the NYPD Police Academy in College Point, Queens, New York, he and 821 other new NYPD police officers attended the graduation ceremony at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York on July 2, 2015, which was presided over by the then New York City police commissioner William J. Bratton. As a probationary police officer, he received the Deputy Commissioner of Training Award.

I can’t talk because I’m a police officer. I’m already demonized.”
  8. At around 7:00 a.m. on September 19, 2020, he was arrested outside his house in Brooklyn and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He was suspended without pay pending the outcome of the criminal case.
  9. Accused of masturbating in front of two underage girls in 2018, he was arrested in Brooklyn, New York on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child on November 5, 2020. On the same day, he was indicted in Brooklyn Supreme Court and was released without bail at his arraignment.
  10. On November 21, 2020, he was arrested in Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania, USA. He was accused of abusing a family friend’s daughter, a girl born in 2006, on April 12, 2017 and on April 30, 2017 by asking showing the child a pornographic video and asking her to perform fellatio on him. He was charged with criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
  11. On November 23, 2020, he was extradited to New York. On the same day, he resigned from his job as an NYPD cop hours before an arraignment where Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Kim Peterson ordered him held on $150,000 bail.
  12. He was 40 years old when he resigned from the NYPD.
  13. He is represented by Douglas Rankin. Yahoo! News quoted the lawyer as saying, “My client is obviously presumed innocent. These charges are from three years ago and the outcry is extremely suspect at best.”
