Jihin “Shadowcat” Radzuan, 22, of Johor Bahru, Malaysia was one of the winners at the ONE Championship event “ONE: Big Bang.” It was the Malaysian mixed martial artist’s fifth win in the Singapore-based martial arts promotion.
Training out of Ultimate MMA Academy in Johor Bahru, Radzuan solely represented Malaysia at “ONE: Big Bang,” which took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on December 4, 2020. On the fight card were four MMA matches and three kickboxing contests.
In the second bout of the evening, Radzuan fought Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen, 31, of Vietnam and the United States in an MMA fight in the women’s atomweight division. Mohamad Sulaiman served as the referee.
After three five-minute rounds, the atomweight contest was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, Sulaiman raised the hand of Radzuan, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
Radzuan is 160 cm tall. Torres, who is 10 cm shorter, trains out of Heritage Muay Thai in Houston, Texas, USA.
Beating Nguyen at “ONE: Big Bang” improved the professional MMA record of Radzuan to 6 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, the Vietnamese-American MMA fighter now has 5 wins and 6 losses.
A total of 13 countries were represented at “ONE: Big Bang” namely Armenia, Brazil, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, the U.S. and Vietnam. Nguyen solely represented Vietnam and was one of the two fighters who represented the U.S.
