As a high school student, he got bullied a lot. He would describe being chased, having someone behind him and being looked for by someone, according to Ali.
In 2002, Ahmad and his family moved to the U.S. From March 2015 to May 2018, he attended Arvada West High School in Arvada.
On Facebook, Ahmad shared posts against gay marriage, abortion and Donald Trump’s stance on immigration. In April 2016, Ahmad posted a photo of himself wearing an Arvada West High School uniform while walking on a wrestling mat.
In 2017, Ahmad was arrested and after allegedly cold cocking a classmate at school. He was accused of punching the victim in the head and he claimed that weeks before the attack, the victim made fun of him and called him racial names.
In 2018, Ahmad pleaded guilty to an assault charge in the case related to the classmate he allegedly attacked in 2017. In May 2018, he graduated from Arvada West High School.
On March 16, 2021, Ahmad passed a background check and purchased a Ruger AR-556 from Eagles Nest Armory, a gun shop in Arvada owned by John Mark Eagleton. Using the military-style rifle, Ahmad fired at the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado on March 22, 2021, killing Denny Stong, 20, Neven Stanisic, 23, Rikki Olds, 25, Tralona Bartkowiak, 49, Suzanne Fountain, 59, Teri Leiker, 51, Eric Talley, 51, Kevin Mahoney, 61, Lynn Murray, 62, and Jody Waters, 65.

Ok this incident is my boiling point. i am now anti-gun. whether i need a gun at some point in life to fight the “armed militia” that is my government no longer matters. I’ll risk it.
There is no reason on earth why this sick monster should have been able to obtain a gun. Remove all guns from society. Guns are for law enforcement and the military. If we remove guns from society, law enforcement will find they themselves won’t even need a gun except the in the rarest of situations. We will also solve the problem of officer shootings if we make using a gun the last resort.
Owning a gun should be like owning a nuclear bomb – just not possible.

That’s a great idea! Remove all guns from society. Then the only people that will have guns are police and criminals. Not too mention what fear would a criminal have when breaking in your home. He will be pretty sure you won’t have a gun, of course there will still be a LARGE black market for guns and he may have one. Your statement is naive.

Consider; Gary Ridgway – more widely known as The Green River Killer – savagely murdered more people by himself than were lost at Columbine, Aurora, Sandy Hook, and San Bernardino combined and he never used a firearm during the commission of his mass brutality.
John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Edward Gein, Donald Harvey, Lawrence Bittaker, Roy Norris, Kenneth Bianchi, Angelo Buono, OJ Simpson, the list of murder-intent monsters – who never used a firearm – is a horrifically long one.
If we as a country, took all the firearms – from coast-to-coast – murderers would still commit murder, child molesters would still molest our children, and rapists would still commit rape.
