Horace Gene Clark, 27, of Mendoza Lane, Woodbridge, Prince William County, Virginia, United States has been arrested. He was charged with murder and use of a firearm in a commission of a felony.
Clark is accused of shooting Kalin Javon Robinson, 25, of Stafford, Virginia multiple times as the latter exited the Babylon Café in Woodbridge on March 25, 2021. The victim received first aid from the Prince William County Police Department officers who responded and was transported by emergency workers to the hospital where he later died.
Robinson’s motive has yet to be determined. The incident was determined not to be random, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
It is the second shooting at the Babylon Café in 2021. Its live entertainment permit was suspended in response to the recent homicide and community safety concerns, the Prince William County Police Department announced on March 26, 2021.
On March 27, 2021, detectives with the department’s homicide unit arrested Clark, who is now held without bond. His mug shot is not yet available,
Originally from Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, USA, Robinson attended Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio from 2011 to 2013. He was married and a father of one.
Robinson was a U.S. Marine Corps grunt. He was stationed at Quantico, Prince William County.
Woodbridge is a census-designated place. It has has a humid subtropical climate and is located around 20 miles south of Washington, D.C, USA, where many of its residents work.
Potomac Mills Mall is located in Woodbridge. Opened on September 19, 1985, the shopping mall is managed by Simon Property Group.
