Caio Castro, 32, is currently in Belarus. The Brazilian actor and entrepreneur is in the European country not for a television project but for a professional mixed martial arts event by BRAVE Combat Federation.

Based in Bahrain, BRAVE CF will hold its first ever event in Belarus on June 4, 2021 at the Falcon Club in Minsk, Belarus in association with Rukh Sport Management (RSM). Titled “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here,” the event will be headlined by former BRAVE CF Lightweight World Champion Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 32, of Brazil and Marcel Grabinski, 29, of Germany.

Martins and Grabinski will battle it out in the lightweight division. Castro is one of the Brazilians who traveled all the way to Minsk to support Martins, who solely represents Brazil at “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here.”

On June 3, 2021, Castro attended the “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” open workout and press conference at the Dana Mall in Minsk. Also present were UFC Women’s Flyweight World Champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko, 33, of Kyrgyzstan and Peru and Olympic rhythmic gymnastics medalist Kseniya Sankovich, 30, of Belarus.

Martins asked the host for the microphone to say a few words to the crowd after completing his segment during the open workout. After thanking BRAVE CF for the opportunity to prove himself once again, the Brazilian fighter spotted a young Belarusian MMA fan from the crowd and called him onstage to present him with signed gloves by himself and Castro.
