“BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” is the first ever BRAVE Combat Federation event to take place in Belarus. It will be headlined by Lucas “Mineiro” Martins, 32, of Brazil and Marcel Grabinski, 29, of Germany.
In association with Rukh Sport Management (RSM), BRAVE CF will hold the historic mixed martial arts event at the Falcon Club in Minsk, Belarus on June 4, 2021. On June 2, 2021, BRAVE CF president Mohammed “The Hawk” Shahid, 31, of Bahrain landed in Minsk, Belarus with eagerness and determination to help develop MMA in Belarus.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Belarusian talent perform and showcase their skills against international fighters in their home country to a local audience,” Shahid said. “We are confident that MMA in Belarus will have a big rise in popularity and development after this event.”
Based in Bahrain, BRAVE CF has been breaking records and traveling the world with a mission to develop the global MMA community through focusing on grassroots development combat sports infrastructures in host countries. The promotion’s main goal has been clear since its establishment.
BRAVE CF aims to provide opportunities for fighters from across the globe and connect local promotions and MMA federations in a mission towards developing combat sports in different countries and fostering the upcoming generation of fighters. Shahid explained, “We have visited so many countries throughout our journey to help facilitate a global ecosystem for MMA.”
“Our goal, apart from national sports development, is also to bring a positive change to MMA that will see the best talent from each country becoming global stars with talent being the only variable,” Shahid continued. “Belarus is the seventh European country we visit and it definitely won’t be our last. There are plenty of European fighters who are yet to be given an opportunity and we look forward to showing the excellence of European fighters to the world.”
Belarus is the 22nd country to host a BRAVE CF event. Shahid thanked RSM and the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus for their excellent work, support and resources in making “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” a success.
