Paige VanZant vs Rachael Ostovich at ‘BKFC 19’ in Tampa, Florida; NFT, AR experience announced

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) has entered into the non-fungible token (NFT) arena. The promotion will offer combat sports fans a chance to win a backstage experience that includes an official walkout during “BKFC 19″ live from the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida, United States.

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, BKFC is known throughout the world for reviving the boxing rules in which fighters compete bare-knuckled. With each event, the sport is surging in popularity.

“BKFC 19” takes place on July 23, 2021 starting at 9:00 p.m. ET or 6:00 p.m. PT for $39.99 and is available for purchase on FITE TV at FITE.tv/Watch/BKFC 19 or with combat sports fans’ current BKTV digital subscription at bareknuckle.tv/subscribe. Former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant, 27, of Coconut Creek, Florida and Rachael Ostovich, 30, of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA will have their rematch in the main event of “BKFC 19.” The former submitted the latter at “UFC Fight Night 143” at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA on January 19, 2019.

Also at “BFKC 19,” fighters will square off for a brand new kind of showdown, one that takes place on the blockchain through an NFT and virtual reality experience with some lucky fans winning a chance to view the entire event backstage and do the walk out with a fighter. As part of its first NFT offering, BKFC lets fans purchase a virtual NFT streaming pack.

However, out of those that purchase the virtual NFT streaming pack, eight winners who buy the streaming pack will be selected for an all-expense-paid trip to Tampa to watch the event from backstage and walk out with one of eight featured fighters. In addition to the live stream virtualization pass, fans will be awarded a limited edition NFT of their favorite fighters backstage and walkout experience to keep on the blockchain forever.

The NFT token will be airdropped after the event and it includes the complete capture of the backstage and walkout experiences through a virtualized augmented reality (AR) experience. The eight backstage and walkout experiences will be randomly selected via smart contracts for this first-ever offering by BKFC.

This NFT backstage walkout experience will be history in the making for fight sports fans around the world. In addition, BKFC will offer a majority of these fighters inside of an AR metaverse as a part of the fighting world’s first-ever AR metaverse experience on the blockchain before “BKFC 19.”

BKFC fans will be able to enter a real 3D metaverse and purchase an AR avatar of their favorite fighter to have forever, which will allow them to experience meeting their favorite fighters in a virtual way that has never been done in any combat sport ever before. The NFT collectibles awarded to walkout experience participants will be randomized by scarcity across three levels namely gold (rare), silver (scare) and bronze (common) and the tokens that are minted will be eligible for a secondary sale across other markets.

The Binance Smart Chain (BSC) will play host to this exciting opportunity on the FOMO LABS NFT marketplace called The Avenue. Fight fans can purchase these NFTs with credit cards and cryptocurrency knowledge is not required.

Some of the other partners responsible for the event include FomoLabs, Miami Crypto Board and BountyBase. Tickets and more information about the event can be found right here: https://www.bareknuckle.tv/events.
