Jett “Fighter” Grande, 23, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada is set to make his professional mixed martial arts debut in Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC). He represents Team Grande Canada and is an International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) alum.
XFC will hold “XFC 45,” also known as “Young Guns 3,” on August 6, 2021 at The Deltaplex Arena and Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, which is the home of the Grand Rapids Gold of the NBA G League. Tickets can be purchased online via ETIX.
Fights will start at 7:30 p.m. In the main event, Grande will fight Damon “RosKo” Morosko, 25, of Massillon, Ohio, USA in the lightweight division.
Like Grande, Morosko will also make his professional MMA debut at “Young Guns 3.” On May 22, 2021, the Masillon resident knocked out Marcus “Lights Out” Williamson, 30, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA at “247 FC: Brawl in the Burgh 7” at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
Grande was supposed to make his professional MMA debut at “Flogger Series 7” at the Liaquat Bagh Sports Complex in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on June 12, 2021. However, the event was cancelled due to new coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.
The Red Deer resident holds an amateur MMA record of 15 wins and 1 loss. He was undefeated from December 4, 2015 to June 19, 2019.
From November 13-17, 2018, Grande defeated four opponents in the 2018 IMMAF-WMMAA Unified Junior World Championships. In May 2019, the Canadian MMA fighter defeated Joel Geders, 29, of Missouri, USA and Jose Luis Buitrago Sanchez, 26, of Bogota, Colombia in the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Pan America Open Championships.
