Chanique Rabe, 24, of Windhoek, Namibia is Miss Supranational 2021. She was crowned at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on August 21, 2021.
Including Rabe, 58 candidates competed for the Miss Supranational 2021 crown. It is the 12th edition of the Poland-based international beauty pageant.
The Windhoek native is the first ever Miss Supranational from Namibia. She succeeded Anntonia Porsild, 24, of Thailand.
Crowned on December 6, 2019, Porsild was not able to crown her successor in 2020 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Runner-up to Porsild is Yana Haenisch, 23, of Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Runner-up to Rabe is Karla Guilfú Acevedo, 23, of Puerto Rico. Valentina Sanchez, 26, of Venezuela, Thato Mosehle, 26, of South Africa and Eoanna Constanza, 25, of the Dominican Republic are the respective second, third and fourth runners-up.
Sanchez was also crowned Miss Supranational Americas 2021 while Mosehle is Miss Supranational Africa 2021 and Constanza is Miss Supranational Caribbean 2021. Both Miss Supranational Asia Jihane Almira Chedid, 21, of Indonesia and Miss Supranational Europe 2021 Louise-Marie Losfeld, 18, of Belgium finished in the Top 12.
Born and raised in Windhoek, Rabe attended Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool from 2003 to 2015. She held the Miss Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool title.
After winning Miss Teen Namibia 2014, Rabe represented Namibia at Miss Teen Continents 2015 in Texas, United States and won the title. She was also Face of Queen Spark 2015.
Rabe is an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage. Through her own charity project called The Mending Project, she teaches sewing to children.
