Varo Vargas, 31, of Lima, Peru has been crowned Mister Supranational 2021. He is the fifth titleholder of the Poland-based international male beauty pageant.
Vargas is a singer and a model who is 6’1″ tall. Aside from singing and writing songs, he also loves playing soccer and meditating.
On May 7, 2020, Vargas was officially designated as Peru’s candidate for Mister Supranational 2020, which was later cancelled due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On May 27, 2021, he was officially appointed as Mister Supranational Peru 2021.
The Lima native is the first Mister Supranational from Peru. Before winning the crown, he performed well in the preliminary events, finishing in the Top 11 in the Top Model contest, Top 10 in the Supra Fan Vote and and Top 5 in the talent competition.
The Mister Supranational 2021 coronation night took place at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on August 22, 2021. Including Vargas, 34 candidates competed for the title.
Vargas succeeded Mister Supranational 2019 Nate Crnkovich, 26, of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Crowned on December 7, 2019, the Omaha native was not able to pass his crown in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Runner-up to Vargas is Abdel Kacem Tefridj, 25, of Lome, Togo. William Manuel Badell Lopez, 25, of Macaraibo, Venezuela is second runner-up, Santosh Upadhyaya, 30, of Lalitpur, Nepal is third runner-up and Lucas Muñoz Alonso de Haro, 28, of Ciudad Real, Spain is fourth runner-up.
