Lome, Togo’s Abdel Kacem Tefridj is Mister Supranational 2021 first runner-up

Abdel Kacem Tefridj, 25, of Lome, Togo almost won Mister Supranational 2021. He is the first runner-up of the fifth edition of the Poland-based international male beauty pageant.

While working as a fashion model, Tefridj also works as a flight attendant for Asky Airlines. He is 6’4″ tall and he enjoys singing, playing the guitar, modeling, boxing and going to Crossfit.

The Lome native walked the runway during the Glitz Africa Fashion Week in 2019 and in 2020. In May 2021, he was appointed as Mister Supranational Togo 2021.

The Mister Supranational 2021 coronation night took place at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on August 22, 2021. Including Tefridj, 34 candidates competed for the title.

It was Varo Vargas, 31, of Lima, Peru who won the title. William Manuel Badell Lopez, 25, of Macaraibo, Venezuela is second runner-up while Santosh Upadhyaya, 30, of Lalitpur, Nepal is third runner-up and Lucas Muñoz Alonso de Haro, 28, of Ciudad Real, Spain is fourth runner-up.

Vargas succeeded Mister Supranational 2019 Nate Crnkovich, 26, of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Crowned on December 7, 2019, the Omaha native was not able to pass his crown in 2020 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
