Let’s play ‘Jeopardy!’ and prove that nothing can stop this show.” On August 3, 2021, it was reported that he was in advanced negotiations with Sony Pictures Television to become permanent host of “Jeopardy!” A week later, he stepped down as the host and said he would still executive produce the show and agreed to undergo sensitivity training.
