Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Occeña Mateo, 24, of Iloilo, Philippines will crown her successor on September 25, 2021. It will be the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ official Miss Universe candidate.
Aspiring beauty queens were given until June 24, 2021 to submit their applications. A total of 100 applicants were selected to compete for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown and they will be narrowed down from 100 to 75 to 50 through voting via the Miss Universe Philippines app.
From 50 semifinalists, only 30 were selected to compete in the final round. Here is the list of finalists:

Steffi Aberasturi (Cebu Province), Kirsten Delavin (Masbate) and Maureen Wroblewitz (Pangasinan) received the three highest votes from fans, which automatically gave them their spots in the Top 30. The other 27 finalists were selected by the judges.
Prior to the coronation night, Ybonne Omar Ortega (Davao City) and Joanna Marie Rabe (Zambales) had to withdraw from the competition due to health reasons. No replacements were announced.
