Miya Marcano’s body found in Tymber Skan on the Lake, Orlando, Florida? 


Miya Marcano, 19, lived and worked at an apartment complex in Arden Villas, Orlando, Orange County, Florida, United States. She was seen there at around 5:00 p.m. on September 24, 2021 wearing a black hoodie, a red shirt and jeans.

Marcano was supposed to fly from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale, Florida that night to visit her parents Marlon “DJ Eternal Vibes” Marcano and Giselle “The Wassi One” Marcano. However, Miya missed the flight and her family has not heard from her since.

At around 10:45 a.n. on October 2, 2021, a body believed to be Miya was found by the he Orange County Sheriff’s emergency response team while searching a wooded area near the Tymber Skan on the Lake apartments in Orlando. The team found a purse with her identification near the body.

Armando Manuel Caballero, 27, used to live at the Tymber Skan on the Lake apartments. He demonstrated a romantic interest in Miya but she repeatedly rebuffed him.

Caballero was a maintenance worker in the the Arden Villas apartment complex where Miya lived and worked. During the initial investigation, he told detectives he had last seen her at around 3:00 p.m. on the day she was last seen alive.


Named as a person of interest in the case, Caballero was accused of letting himself inside Miya’s unit because he had access to a master key to complex units which was used to get inside her apartment at around 4:30 p.m. on September 24, 2021. On September 27, 2021, he was found dead of an apparent suicide.

“We are not looking for any other people,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said after a body believed to be Miya was found. “We believe pretty conclusively that Armando Caballero is responsible for this crime.”
