Ana Lucia Tejeira, 25, represented Panama at Reina Hispanoamericana 2021. It was the 30th edition of the beauty pageant celebrating Hispanic heritage, language and culture based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
Tejeira is also expected to represent Panama at the inaugural edition of Miss Charm in Vietnam. The date of the coronation night has yet to be announced.
With a bachelor’s degree in interior design, Tejeira wants to become a lecturer at an interior architecture university. Since 2013, she has been practicing martial arts.
On June 20, 2019, Tejeira represented Coclé at Señorita Panamá 2019 at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama. She ranked fifth, making her the second runner-up.
The Panamanian beauty queen is 5’7″ tall. She enjoys cooking, dancing and painting.
The Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 coronation ceremony was held at the Estudio 5 of Red Uno de Bolivia, a television network in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Including Tejiera, 27 women competed for the title.
Mister Supranational 2021 Vago Vargas, Miss Bolivia 2009 Claudia Arce Lemaitre and Miss Model of the World 1996 second runner-up Yenny Vaca Paz served as judges. They were joined by Koala Feel Free CEO Alexia Dabdoub, Universal Woman Pageant director Alexander Gonzalez Aguilar and “Despéiname La Vida” star Ronico Cuellar.
Tejeira ranked second, earning her the Virreina Hispanoamericana 2021 title. It was Andrea Bazarte, 27, of Mexico who won the Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 crown.
Maria Alejandra Vengoechea, 23, of Colombia was first runner-up. Andrea Romero, 24, of Venezuela, Emmanuelle Vera, 26, of the Philippines, Bruna Zanardo, 29, of Brazil and Theresa Agonia, 29, of Portugal were the respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up.
