  1. From 1999 to 2021, he was the defendant in 19 court cases. Among the charges he faced were larceny, burglary, driving without a license and possession of a controlled substance.
  2. On April 1, 2014, he entered the Santa Ana Star Casino on Santa Ana Pueblo in Sandoval County, New Mexico while carrying a revolver and five cartridges of ammunition. He dropped the revolver, got into a truck in the casino parking lot and crashed after being pursued in the truck by Rio Rancho Police Department officers. He was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition at the time because he previously had been convicted of numerous felony offenses including battery, burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
  3. On May 21, 2014, he was arrested on a criminal complaint charging him with unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition. 
  4. On November 20, 2014, he pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. 
  5.  In February 2015, he was sentenced to three years in prison for being in possession of a firearm and ammunition. 
  6. In January 2018, he left federal prison.
  7. In February 2018, he failed his court-ordered drug test. He was ordered to spend six months in a rehabilitation program. Before completing his court-mandated six-month stay, he escaped from the facility.
  8. On the morning of February 13, 2022, he allegedly stabbed 11 strangers with a large knife as he rode a small BMX bike around Albuquerque. He was arrested at around 6:00 p.m. He was charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
  9. At 7:12 a.m. on February 14, 2022, he was booked into the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque.
  10. He was 42 years old when he was arrested on February 13, 2022.
