Trezell Phillip West, 35, and Jacqueline Gabrielle West, 32, are a couple from California, United States. In 2018, they became the foster parents of Cinsere Pettus and Classic Pettus after a report of abuse by an extended family member of the children.
Cinsere and Classic are Charles A. Pettus and Brenda Pettus‘s biological children. In 2019, Trezell and Jacqueline adopted the two children.
Born in 2016, Classic was renamed Orrin West. and Cinsere was born in 2017, Cinsere was renamed Orson West.
Aside from Orrin and Orson, Trezell and Jacqueline have two more adopted children and two biological children. The family originally lived in Bakersfield, Kern County, California before moving to California City, Kern County in September 2020.
Orrin and Orson died in October 2020, Kern County district attorney Cynthia Zimmer revealed on March 2, 2022. But on December 21, 2020, Trezell and Jacqueline told the California City Police Department that Orrin and Orson had disappeared while playing in the family’s backyard in California City.
In March 2021, police and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents searched a field in Bakersfield. They have yet to reveal the results of the search.
On March 1, 2022, the Bakersfield Police Department arrested Trezell and Jacqueline. The two were each charged with one misdemeanor count of making a false report of an emergency, two felony counts of second-degree murder and two felony counts of willful cruelty to a child.
Trezell and Jacqueline are being held without bail at the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Booking Facility in Bakersfield pending their arraignment hearing in Kern County Superior Court in Bakersfield on March 3, 2022. If convicted on the murder counts, they will each face sentences of 30 years to life in prison.
