Sam “The Future” Patterson, 25, of Walford, England, United Kingdom is currently in Bahrain. He is set to fight Khunkar-Pasha Osmaev, 31, of Grozny, Chechnya, Russia at “BRAVE CF 57“, the first BRAVE Combat Federation event in 2022.

Featuring 12 professional mixed martial arts bouts and one amateur MMA fight, “BRAVE CF 57” will be held at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on March 11, 2022. In the eighth bout of the evening, Patterson and Osmaev will battle it out in the lightweight division.

Fighting professionally since 2017, Patterson joined BRAVE CF in 2019. On November 6, 2021, he earned his fourth win in the promotion by submitting Kamil Magomedov of Moscow, Russia via guillotine choke at “BRAVE CF 55” in Rostov-on-don, Russia.

BRAVE CF president Mohammed “The Hawk” Shahid was very impressed by Patterson’s performance that night. The victory improved the Walford native’s professional MMA record to 8 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.

“Sam Patterson is indeed the future of this sport,” Shahid said. “It’s not just his moniker (but also) because he embodies every sense of the word. Look at his magnificent performance. It left us wanting more.”

“I’m excited to see what the future holds for The Future,” the BRAVE CF president said of Patterson. “With him being around, it just makes the promotion’s stacked lightweight division more interesting.”

BRAVE CF 57

A total of 16 countries are represented at “BRAVE CF 47.” These are Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, England, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Russia, Switzerland and Uzbekistan.

Patterson solely represents England. Osmaev, Kamil Magomedov and Magomed Idrisov represent Russia.

“BRAVE CF 57” is part of the BRAVE International Fight Week 2022, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The MMA Super Cup 2022 is also part of the combat sports event organized by BRAVE CF in cooperation with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and the Khalid Bin Hamad Sports Organization (KHK SPORTS).

In the main event of “BRAVE CF 57”, Hamza “The Pride of Bahrain” Kooheji, 29, of Bahrain and Brad “Superman” Katona, 30, of Canada will compete for the BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship. Here is a recent interview with the latter:
