Fernando Cutanda, 43, of Boston, Massachusetts, United States has an extensive criminal history not only in Massachusetts but also in New York, USA. He previously lived in Roslindale, Massachusetts.
At around 2:00 p.m. on April 6, 2022, Cutanda allegedly peered into vehicles and tried to enter a vehicle in the parking lot of South East Elementary School in Plantsville, Southington, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA. He became argumentative when school staff confronted him, according to the Southington Police Department.
When approached by responding officers, Cutanda said he was a cop in New York, refused to provide identification and gave police a false name and birthdate. Officers found a carpenter’s hammer tucked into his pants.
Cutanda had on him a broken glass bottle neck and a broken steak knife blade when he was arrested. Police found that he has an active arrest warrant out of New London, Connecticut for failure to appear in court for a larceny case.
In Southington, Cutanda was charged with sixth-degree criminal attempt to commit larceny, second-degree failure to appear, breach of peace, criminal impersonation and loitering/remaining on school grounds. He is being held on a $25,000 cash/surety bond
On April 7, 2022, Cutanda will appear in court. He was also detained for the New London warrant on a $3,000 bond.
