Miss Kansas USA 2021 Gracie Hunt, 23, of Overland Park, Kansas, United States will crown her successor at the B&B Live Performing Arts Theatre in Shawnee, Kansas on May 8, 2022. It is the 65th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Kansas’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, Kansas has 12 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Kelly McCarty in 1991. Hunt’s mother Tavia Shackles is Miss Kansas USA 1993 and Miss USA 1993 second runner-up.

On April 11, 2021, Hunt was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2021 at the B&B Live Performing Arts Theatre in Shawnee. Representing Kansas, she finished in the Top 16 at Miss USA 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater of the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
