Puteri Indonesia 2020 Ayu Maulida, 24, of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia will crown her successor at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 27, 2022. It is the 25th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Indonesia’s Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Supranational candidates.

Indonesia has yet to win Miss Universe and Miss Supranational. The Asian country has one Miss International crown, which was won by Kevin Lilliana in 2017.

Maulida was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2020 on March 6, 2020 with Putu Ayu Saraswati as Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020 and Jihane Almira Chedid as Puteri Indonesia Pariwista 2020. Maulida finished in the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020 and Chedid finished in the Top 12 at Miss Supranational 2021 while Saraswati is set to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2022.

A total of 44 women are competing for the three Puteri Indonesia 2022 crowns. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 13 candidates:
