Krystal Jones, 34, of New Milford, Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States allegedly started a relationship with a boy, then 15, in December 2021. He lives in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut. 

On March 23, 2022, the Danbury Police Department received a complaint from the Department of Children and Families accusing Jones of having an inappropriate relationship with the Danbury boy. The two had been having sex since December 2021, he told officers.

According to the boy, the last sexual encounter he had with Jones one happened in a park-and-ride on Federal Road in Danbury one day before he was interviewed by the officers. He said he threw out a condom in a nearby wooded area after they had sex.

A detective and evidence technician went to that place and found a used condom in the area as the boy described. He was sent to Danbury Hospital on Hospital Avenue in Danbury to get a sexual assault kit done.

On April 12, 2022, Jones was arrested. On May 9, 2022, she posted a $250,000 bail and was released from custody.

Jones was charged with six counts of risk of injury to a child, three counts of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16. She has pleaded not guilty to all 12 felony charges.

On June 1, 2022, Jones will attend a pre-trial hearing in Danbury. Public defender James Lamontagne is representing her.
