Celebrating Pride Month, North Idaho Pride Alliance‘s signature annual event Pride in the Park was held in Coeur d’Alene City Park in Coeur d’Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho, United States on June 11, 2022. About 100 people participated in the Pride Stride march, which is part of the event.
A white nationalist and neo-fascist hate group called Patriot Front had plans to riot at the event. A concerned citizen called 911 after seeing 31 members of the group piling into a U-Haul with riot gear at the parking lot of a hotel in Coeur d’Alene.
Around 10 minutes after the 911 call, Coeur d’Alene Police Department officers stopped the U-Haul and detained the 31 Patriot Front members, who were equipped with shields, masks, shin guards and other riot gear. They wore khaki pants, blue shirts and hats with plastic inside them.
Most of the 31 men had logos on their hats consistent with the Patriot Front group and some of them had arm patches associated with the group. Here is the list of their names, ages and residences:
