“Omok” Kubanychbek Abdisalam Ulu (Кубанычбек Абдисалам уулу), 28, of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan is the new interim lightweight champion of BRAVE Combat Federation. The Kyrgyz mixed martial artist earned the title at “BRAVE CF 59“.
In collaboration with Amir Temur Fighting Championship, BRAVE CF held “BRAVE CF 59” at the Amphitheater Bukhara in Bukhara, Uzbekistan on June 18, 2022. It featured 11 MMA bouts.
In the main event of the evening, Kubanychbek and Olzhas “Kypshak” Eskaraev (Олжас Ескараев), 31, of Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan competed for the BRAVE CF Interim Lightweight Championship. After five five-minute rounds, referee Izzatilo Sharipov raised the hand of the Kyrgyz MMA fighter, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
The victory improved Kubanychbek’s professional MMA record to 19 win, 3 losses, 0 draw and 1 No Contest. On the other hand, Eskaraev now has 10 wins and 6 losses.
“Eskaraev was a tough opponent,” Kubanychbek said after his “BRAVE CF 59” win. “I was expecting that. Thank you to him for that and for taking this fight.”
“BRAVE CF 59” marked Kubanychbek’s sixth BRAVE CF fight. He won his first four fights in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion via finish while the fifth one, which was against Cleiton “Predador” Silva, 36, of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, ended in a No Contest.

After beating Eskaraev, Kubanychbek will challenge BRAVE CF Lightweight Champion Ahmed “The Butcher” Amir, 30, of Egypt. The Egyptian champ won the belt at “BRAVE CF 54” in Konin, Poland on September 25, 2021.
“My message to Ahmed Amir… I feel like I am the real champ,” Kubanychbek said. “I fought for the interim belt twice now. Give me the fight.”
