Brooklyn, New York City’s Alutheimeen Imaduddeen arrested in Queens 19 days after Tyra Darden’s death


Alutheimeen Imaduddeen, 21, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States is a member of the Structure gang. So was Tyda Darden, 21, of Bedford-Stuyvesant.

In 2020, Darden had a gun arrest. In May 2021, Imaduddeen also had a gun arrest that was later sealed.


At around 1:25 a.m. on June 6, 2022, police found Darden with a gunshot wound to the head outside the entrance to a recording studio on Wyckoff Avenue near Schaefer Street in Ridgewood, Queens, New York City. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Darden’s girlfriend is pregnant with the couple’s first child. The motive behind his fatal shooting remains under investigation.


Several gunmen including Imaduddeen are accused of being involved with the shooting, firing at least 30 shots. He is not accused of firing the shot that killed Darden.

On June 23, 2022, Imaduddeen was arrested in Bedford-Stuyvesant for possession of codeine and other pills and charged with drug possession with intent to sell. He was released without bail.

On the morning of June 25, 2022, Imaduddeen was arrested again in Queens. He was charged with attempted murder, attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

On June 26, 2022, Imaduddeen was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court. He was ordered held on $50,000 bail.
