Miss Universe Belize 2020 Iris Salguero, 25, will crown her successor at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts in Belize City on August 13, 2022. It is the 31st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Belize’s Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, Belize has one Miss Universe placement. Representing the Caribbean country, Sarita Acosta finished in the Top 12 in 1979.

Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Miss Universe Belize was not held in 2020 and in 2021. Salguero was appointed Miss Universe Belize 2020 on January 9, 2021 and she represented Belize at Miss Universe 2020 in Florida, United States on May 16, 2021.
