Axel Sola, 24, of Nice, France is still an undefeated professional mixed martial artist. He was recently in Bonn, Germany for his fourth BRAVE Combat Federation fight.
In association with Germany-based MMA promotion National Fighting Championship, BRAVE CF held “BRAVE CF 61” at Maritim Hotel in Bonn on August 6, 2022. In the second bout of the evening, Sola fought Wladimir Holodenko, 27, of Bruchsal, Germany at a catch weight of 77kg.

With superior speed, distance management, feints, footwork, boxing and ground game, Sola outworked Holodenko. This drove the French MMA fighter to a one-sided 30-27, 30-27, 30-27 unanimous decision win over his German opponent.
The victory improved Sola’s professional MMA record to 4 wins and 0 loss. In his “BRAVE CF 61” post-fight interview, he revealed his intention to move from welterweight to super lightweight.
“I think for my next fight you’ll see me down at super lightweight,” Sola said. “I want to challenge myself more and cut weight like other fighters. The weight cut to 77 kilograms is too easy for me.”
Including France and Germany, a total of 15 countries were represented at “BRAVE CF 61”. The others were Afghanistan, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland and Tajikistan.
Sola solely represented France. Holodenko was one of the eight representatives of the host country.
When Sola made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 49” on March 25, 2021, he submitted Kuitty Begaj of Zagreb, Croatia via arm-triangle choke. Both via unanimous decision, the French MMA fighter defeated Wawrzyniec Bartnik, 26, of Czestochowa, Poland at “BRAVE CF 54” on September 25, 2021 and Yoon Sung Jang of South Korea at “BRAVE CF 58” on April 30, 2022.
