Flint, Michigan’s Bryan Sutton accused of abusing boy in McDonald’s bathroom in Chicago, Illinois

Bryan Sutton, 62, of Flint, Genesee County, Michigan, United States allegedly molested a boy, 6, in a bathroom at the McDonald’s flagship restaurant on Clark Street in River North, Chicago, Illinois, USA at around 5:45 p.m. on August 20, 2022. A security guard, 61, responded to the scene and tried to intervene.

Sutton allegedly fought back and battered the security guard. When Chicago Police Department officers arrived, the Flint man allegedly resisted arrest.

Sutton was eventually placed into custody at the scene and was charged with aggravated kidnapping and criminal sexual abuse of a victim younger than 13. He is due in bond court on August 23, 2022.

The boy was taken to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago on East Chicago Avenue in Chicago in good condition. The security guard had no signs of injury and did not require medical attention.

Also in a bathroom at the McDonald’s flagship restaurant on North Clark Street in River North, Christopher Puente, then 34, of Chicago allegedly sexually assaulted a girl, then 3, at 8:20 a.m. on February 17, 2020. He was arrested on February 19, 2020.

Puente has a long criminal history. He is a citizen of Mexico.

Aside from Flint, Sutton has lived in other parts of Michigan including Mount Morris. He previously lived in Huntsville, Alabama, USA and Acworth, Georgia, USA.

Sheldon Neeley, 53, is the incumbent and 94th mayor of Flint. The city faced a public health emergency from 2014 to 2019 due to lead contamination in parts of the local water supply and an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease.
