That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election. During the riot, he and Daniel were caught on camera assaulting law enforcement officers and engaging in disruptive and disorderly conduct.
  8. On December 29, 2021, someone who knows him and Daniel identified them to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  9. An FBI special agent filed a criminal complaint against him, which was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather on August 10, 2022. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers with a dangerous weapon, interfering with a law enforcement officer during a civil disorder and four related misdemeanor offenses.
  10. He was 56 was years old when he was arrested in La Grange on August 23, 2022. On the same day, he appeared in court and was released on bond.
