Tupac Amaru Shakur, 34, of Miami, Florida, United States is accused of attacking an elderly man outside outside Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, Florida on September 6, 2022. He was sitting on a bench when she allegedly came up and started to hit him with a baseball bat.

After the man took the bat from Shakur, she ran off into the hospital. She told security a man was hitting her with a bat but footage taken by security cameras showed it was the other way around.

Shakur was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated battery on a person over the age of 65. Her bond was set at $10,000.

The name of the man Shakur attacked was not released. He suffered several lacerations in the attack but he refused medical treatment.

Also born Tupac Amaru Shakur, rapper 2Pac was 25 years old when he was shot in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on September 7, 1996. He was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada where he was heavily sedated and put on life support.

On September 13, 1996, 2Pac died from internal bleeding. On September 14, 1996, his body was cremated.

In 1997, 2Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur Davis founded the Shakur Family Foundation, which was later renamed the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation (TASF). The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts (TASCA) was opened in Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA in 2005 but closed in 2015.

On May 2, 2016, Davis went into cardiac arrest and died at a hospital in Greenbrae, California, USA. She was 69.
