Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 was crowned on August 26, 2022 but the winner will not be made public until September 11, 2022. It is the first edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Bahrain’s Miss Universe candidate.
In November 2021, Manar Nadeem “Jess” Deyani was appointed as Miss Universe Bahrain 2021. She was unplaced when she represented Bahrain at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel on December 12, 2021 but made history as the first ever Miss Universe candidate from Bahrain.

Josh Yugen is the national director of Miss Universe Bahrain. The judges who selected the winner of its first edition included Mai Omar, Dr. Nader Saab, Urvashi Rautela, Natalia Barulich, Troy Reinhart, J. Rey Soul, Faryal Makhdoom, Julianne Holt-Kalihiwa and Kylie Versoza.
