Former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters “The Austrian Wonderboy” Ismail Naurdiev, 26, of Salzburg, Austria and Marcin “Bomba” Bandel, 33, of Lodz, Poland will headline “BRAVE CF 63“. This is BRAVE Combat Federation‘s eighth 2022 event.
Featuring five bouts, “BRAVE CF 63” will be held at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on October 19, 2022. In the main event of the evening, Naurdiev and Bandel will fight for the vacant BRAVE CF Super Welterweight World Championship title.
Marcin Bandel
Bandel made his professional MMA debut in 2009, lost two UFC fights in 2014 and in 2015 and won his first two BRAVE CF fights. He submitted Magomed Ayskhanov of Russia at “BRAVE CF 54” on September 25, 2021 and defeated Luis Felipe Dias of Brazil via unanimous decision at “BRAVE CF 58” on April 30, 2022.
The two BRAVE CF wins improved Bandel’s professional MMA record to 21 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw. Naurdiev currently has 22 wins and 5 losses.
Bandel is 5’10” tall. Naurdiev is 6’0″ tall.
Ismail Naurdiev
Fighting professionally since 2012, Naurdiev won two of his four UFC fights from 2019 to 2020. When he made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 50” on April 1, 2021, he lost via technical knockout to “The Jordanian Lion” Jarrah Al-Silawi of Jordan.
After losing to Al-Silawi, Naurdiev bounced back with two BRAVE CF wins. The Austrian MMA fighter defeated “The Amazing” Olli Santalahti of Finland via unanimous decision at “BRAVE CF 54” on September 25, 2021 and Bekten Zheenbekov of Kyrgyzstan via technical knockout at “BRAVE CF 59” on June 18, 2022.
