Russia vs Finland: Kamal Magomedov, Olli Santalahti to fight at ‘BRAVE CF 63’ in Isa Town, Bahrain

Kamal Magomedov, 31, of Russia will fight “The Amazing” Olli Santalahti, 28, of Finland at “BRAVE CF 63“. It is BRAVE Combat Federation‘s eight 2022 event.

Featuring five bouts, “BRAVE CF 63” will be held at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on October 19, 2022. In the third bout of the evening, Magomedov and Santalahti will battle it out in the super welterweight division.

Kamal Magomedov

On December 20, 2013, Magomedov made his professional MMA debut. Since then, he has been undefeated. He is a former Titan Fighting Championship Welterweight Champion.

When Magomedov made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 55” on November 6, 2021, he submitted his countryman Vitali Tverdokhlebov. The victory improved Magomedov’s professional MMA record to 9 wins and 0 loss.

Magomedov is 5’8″ tall. Santalahti is 5’11” tall.

Olli Santalahti

When Santalahti made his professional MMA record on April 14, 2012, he lost via unanimous decision. He went on hiatus after the loss then made a successful comeback on October 10, 2015.

On March 18, 2021, Santalahti made his successful BRAVE CF debut by defeating Georges Eid via split decision at “BRAVE CF 48”. On September 25, 2021, the Finnish MMA fighter lost via unanimous decision to “The Austrian Wonderboy” Ismail Naurdiev, 26, of Austria.

On May 28, 2022, Santalahti defeated Kirill Medvedovsky of Israel via technical knockout at “Hamara MMA – Vol. 1“. The victory improved the Finnish MMA fighter’s professional MMA record to 13 wins and 4 losses.

In the main event of “BRAVE CF 63”, Naurdiev and Marcin “Bomba” Bandel, 33, of Poland will fight for the vacant BRAVE CF Super Welterweight World Championship title. In the co-main event, Gamzat Magomedov, 27, of Bahrain will challenge BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Brad “Superman” Katona, 30, of Canada
