On January 6, 2021, he went to the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., USA with Therres. That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election. During the riot, he was caught on camera handing to Therres a wood plank, which Therres threw at a group of police officers.
On January 29, 2021, a Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent interviewed him at his residence in Fallston. He admitted he had been present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
In February 2021, he conducted several searches on Facebook regarding “fbi most wanted capitol riots”.
An FBIspecial agent filed a criminal complaint against him, which was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya on November 8, 2022.
On November 14, 2022, he was arrested. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers, and interfering with law enforcement officers during a civil disorder, both felonies, and five related misdemeanor offenses.
He was 49 years old when he was arrested on November 14, 2022.
