Ashley Nicole Holter, 27, of Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio, United States is the girlfriend of Nicholas Andrew Adams, 26, of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She has six children, ranging from infant to nine years old, from a previous relationship.

The six children were living with their grandparents in Ohio, who have legal custody. Holter and Adams allegedly abducted the six children in Ohio and fled the state.

Alerted by the Florida Highway Patrol, Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies performed a traffic stop on a minivan near the Bob Sikes Road overpass on Interstate 10 in DeFuniak Springs, Walton County, Florida, USA on the evening of December 13, 2022. They found Holter and Adams in the van with her six children.

Holter and Adams were arrested and charged with kidnapping and false imprisonment. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office plans to extradite the two to Ohio and is working to reunite her children with their grandparents.
