Lionel Andrés Messi, also known as Leo Messi, is an Argentine professional footballer born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina to Jorge Messi and Celia Maria Cuccittini. He is 5’7″ tall.

Jorge was a manager in a steel factory while Cuccittini worked in a magnet manufacturing workshop. She is of Italian descent while he is of Italian and Spanish descent.

Leo has two older brothers namely Matias Messi and Rodrigo Messi and a younger sister named Maria Sol Messi. Their cousins Maxi Biancucchi and Emanuel Biancucchi are also professional footballers.
