Later that day, two Huntington Park Police Department officers found him a few blocks away and he allegedly ignored their commands to advance or throw the knife. The officers failed to subdue him with Tasers. He was shot in the upper torso by the officers and was pronounced dead on scene at 3:57 p.m.
