Wearing a red hat, sunglasses, black jacket and black backpack, he went to the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., USA on January 6, 2021. That day, Trump’s supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
He allegedly told someone that he was in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021. On October 1, 2021, the person contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation‘s National Threat Operations Center.
On November 2, 2021, the tipster who contacted the FBI on October 1, 2021 gave hi email address, his telephone number and place of employment to the agency.
He allegedly told a person he had frequent in-person contact with him in Arlington that he was at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021 but did not go inside. The person was interviewed by law enforcement officers on December 8, 2021.
An FBI special agent filed a criminal complaint against him, which was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather on February 3, 2023.
On February 8, 2023, he was arrested in Texas. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers; obstructing, impeding, or interfering with officers during a civil disorder; entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; and physical violence in a restricted building or grounds.
He was 44 years old when he was arrested on February 8, 2023.
