Jason Everette Wasserman, 45, of Panama City Beach, Bay County, Florida, United States previously lived in Plano, Texas, USA and Lutherville Timonium, Maryland, USA. Aside from Panama City, he has lived in other parts of Florida including Coral Springs, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Lake Placid, Wellington and Delray Beach.

On December 17, 2020, Wasserman registered as a voter in Texas. He is not affiliated with a political party.

On February 4, 2023, Wasserman drove near Zoo World on Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach. He approached three juveniles walking in that area.

After exchanging telephone numbers, Wasserman drove the three juveniles around and dropped them off in a neighborhood off South Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach. A short time later, the juveniles asked him to pick them up again and he did.

Wasserman drove to a liquor store and bought the three juveniles rum and plastic cups. After dropping the three off at a nearby condominium, he contacted them individually and asked for naked photographs.

Later, Wasserman met with the three juveniles again. The Panama City Beach man offered them $5 to kiss him.

When Wasserman was taken to the Panama City Beach Police Department for questioning, he admitted to the crimes. He was arrested, booked into the Bay County Jail in Panama City, Bay County and charged with unlawful use of a two-way communication device and three counts each of traveling to meet a minor, solicitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
