Jeremy Lenerville, 40, of Aurora, Illinois, United States attended Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora. He previously lived in Cary, North Carolina, USA.
At around 6:15 a.m. on February 23, 2023, Aurora Police Department officers executed a search warrant at Lenerville’s residence in Aurora. The officers seized several electronic devices that contained suspected child pornography during the search.
That morning, the officers arrested Lenerville. He was charged with seven counts of reproducing or distributing video of child pornography and 11 counts of possessing visual reproduction of child pornography on computer-video.
Lenverville was booked into the DuPage Coutny Jail in Wheaton, Illinois. His bond was set at $250,000.
If Lenerville posts bond, he will be required to surrender his Firearm Owners Identification Card, ammunition and firearms. He will also be prohibited from having unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.
Settled in 1834, Aurora was incorporated as a village in 1845 and as a city in 1857. Among the largest employers in the city are the Rush Copley Medical Center, the Hollywood Casino Aurora and Caterpillar Inc.
Richard Irvin, 52, has been the mayor of Aurora since May 9, 2017. Actors Phillip Edward Van Lear, 72, Andrea Evans, 65, and Kimberly Donley, 57, were born in the city.
