Eugene “Geno” Smith of Spokane, Washington, United States has died. He was 31.
Smith has five children. He owned a security firm called Eugenius Protection, which was incorporated on March 17, 2022 in Washington.
While based in Spokane, Smith worked as the head of security at the DMV All Skate Social on Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, Prince George’s County, Maryland, USA. Jacqueline Wiggins owns the roller skating rink.
On February 23, 2023, Smith stopped by the DMV All Skate Social to pick up a paycheck while he was off-duty. At around 11:30 p.m., he was fatally shot allegedly by Omar Delonte Smith, 27, of Washington, D.C., USA.
Geno and Omar are not related. Omar used to work at the DMV All Skate Social as a security guard and was fired by Geno.
On March 16, 2023, Omar was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and second-degree murder. He is in custody in Richmond, Virginia, USA awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
