Drew Blythe Barrymore is an actress and a talk show host born in Culver City, California, United States to John Drew Barrymore and Ildikó Jaid Makó Barrymore. John and Jaid were married from 1971 to 1984.

Raised on Poinsettia Place in West Hollywood, California, Drew appeared in a dog food commercial in January 1976. In 1980, she played Margaret Jessup in “Altered States“, which was her first film role.
