Pembroke Pines, Florida’s Josh Tylerbest arrested in Miami; ‘The Bachelorette’ alum released on $5K bond

“The Bachelorette” Season 17 contestant Joshua “Josh” Tylerbest, 27, of Pembroke Pines, Broward County, Florida, United States is an information technology consultant. From 2013 to 2018, he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems.

In January 2022, Tylerbest joined True Search in Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida as a senior associate. Prior to this, he worked in FIS in Orlando, Orange County, Florida and in Invisors in Miami.

Authorities started investigating Tylerbest after 50 images of child sexual abuse material was uploaded by a Google account registered to him. They executed a search warrant and found 15 files on his iPhone that met the criteria for child sexual abuse material, including of videos of children involved in graphic sex acts with adults.

In February 2023, Tylerbest was arrested in Miami. He was booked into the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department in Miami and released on $5,000 bond.

Tylerbest was charged with 15 felony counts of possession of sexual performance by a child. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts and he will be back in court in June 2023.

“The Bachelorette” Season 17 aired on ABC from June 7, 2021 to August 9, 2021. Tylerbest was eliminated in the fourth week.
