Ruben Francisco Martin , 29, of Burleson, Texas, United States is a teacher and an assistant wrestling coach at Trinity High School in Euless, Tarrant County, Texas. He is accused of having an improper relationship with a girl, 16, attending the school.

On April 11, 2023, Euless Police Department detectives were called to the administration building of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District in Bedford, Tarrant County in reference to Martin having an alleged improper relationship with the teenager. They found evidence that a criminal offense had occurred.

Martin made arrangements through his attorney to turn himself in. On April 19, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for him.

On the same day, Martin was taken to the Tarrant County Jail in Fort Worth, Tarrant County. Bail was set at $25,000.

On April 20, 2023, the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD announced that Martin has been placed on leave. He was charged with having an improper relationship between educator and student, which is a second-degree felony.

The Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is cooperating fully with the Euless Police Department in the investigation. Detectives believe Martin could have victimized other teenagers.
