Kyle Chrisley, 32, of Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee, United States is the second child of Michael Todd Chrisley, 53, of Westminster, South Carolina, USA. From 2014 to 2018, Kyle was married to Alexus “Lexi” Whilby, now 31, of Canton, Georgia, United States.

In 2012, Kyle’s then girlfriend Angela Victoria Johnson, now 31, of Iva, South Carolina, gave birth to their daughter Chloe Chrisley. In 2016, Chloe was adopted by Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley, 49, of Winchester, South Carolina. 

Both Whilby and Johnson are black. On December 11, 2014, Todd wrote on Twitter in part, “Alexus Whilby tried to extort our family for $20k or tell the press that we are racist.”

“Alexis Whilby stop being silly u fame seeking whore..,” Todd wrote on Twitter on April 4, 2015. “U can’t count high enough to reach me.”

“bye you tired ass weave wearing ashy skinned HO, u r blocked now, We are bored with pity for u,” Todd wrote on the same thread. The tweet has been deleted.

“To see a grown man and public figure, who is the grandfather to a beautiful black child say those horrible things was shocking,” Whilby recently told Daily Mail. After she and Kyle spoke to the Georgia Department of Revenue in 2017, Todd threatened her in voice recordings obtained by the publication.

“I have an email Alexus where you are sending an email to Katie (from Georgia Department of Revenue) telling her that had you known that they would not protect you and your other partners in crime that you would have never done this and that you need protection,” Todd said in one recording. “No darling, you don’t need protection, you need an attorney. Call your brothers and find out about that fake trust that you got that has that $100 million dollars in it because I am coming to get a part of it.”

On June 7, 2022, Todd and Julie were each convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. He was also convicted of tax fraud and Julie was convicted of wire fraud.

On November 21, 2022, Judge Eleanor L. Ross sentenced Todd to 12 years in prison with 3 years of supervised release and to 7 years in prison and 3 years of supervised release. Meanwhile, Whilby currently works as an account executive while raising her daughter, 3.
