Since it was Bellew’s first court appearance, Leo read her her rights. She agreed to waive the preliminary hearing.

Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured. When Leo asked Bellew for some information about her current status, she said  she had left her employment to take care of her dying father Ira Thomas Bellew Sr., 90, a Korean War veteran.

Leo instructed Rita not to visit Amy’s Family Pizzeria. She is also prohibited from having contact with Quiñonez and the other victims.

  1. If it’s at all possible friends of Omar and his family from Amy’s Pizzeria should attend the defendant’s arraignment to support our nieghbor and his business. We have to make sure something like this never happens in our small little town of Hatboro again.
It’s a bit inconvenient going to Norristown from Hatboro but if it’s at all possible….
